Being a detailed-oriented person, this art project was a really fun, but painstaking (esp Gothic architecture) drawing:
I love that map – it is adorable 🙂
Thanks:-) It was fun to do, and I was so relieved that the bride & groom loved it (esp given the geographical issues). BTW, bride looked stunning (no shock); she & groom make a very handsome couple… Groom serenaded her at the reception with his acoustic guitar; it was one of my favourite moments of the night.
So cute! By the way, I just found your comment about Paris that I forgot to reply to — sorry about that! I would recommending a flat in the Marais or Montmartre if you can. Both are great locations though the Marais is very central; Montmartre is more in the northwest and hilly.
Hi! I just got back from my big trip to Europe… I ended up staying in a really nice flat in Montmartre near the Abbesses metro station. That said, I don’t think I would recommend staying in Montmartre; it was quite smelly and dirty. Visit it yes, but stay somewhere else in Paris… Did get an excellent work-out running the hilly cobblestone streets of Montmartre, however.
Ah good to know, thanks! Will adjust future recommendations.
